The world of Vintage Rally is full of amazing models and stories, but none more so than Jake Auerbach and his 1951 Chrysler New Yorker.

The story began when Jake was only thirteen years old and his dad got him a job pumping gas for mechanic in Long Island, New York.  For Jake's dad, Jonathan, this may have been a way to familiarize his son with automotives, because he himself did not know a thing.

What Jonathan could not predict was what this summer job would grow into, which was Jake falling in love with mechanics and automotives.  As Jake grew older he began to navigate for his father in Vintage car rallies, and the rest is history.  Check out how Jake and Jonathan found their Chrysler and how it brought them together here:

This story is full of smaller stories that move us, and it all revolves around the classic Chrysler New Yorker that carried the father-son team on many journeys around the nation.
