In the middle of nowhere (central California to be somewhat exact), my engine malfunction light came on. "Malfunction" is never something good to think about unless an ATM machine is malfunctioning and making it rain, but this wasn't the case. The Jeep manual doesn't say much more than "hey it might be nothing" or "this could be serious, pull over immediately", so I got off the 5 and headed towards nearby Bakersfield to see if there was a Jeep dealership.

I pulled into Bakersfield Jeep around 3:30 with a worried look on my face. The mechanic told me it was a little late in the day for a repair since there were a ton of people ahead of me, BUT he told me to wait a second while he went and grabbed the analyzer to give me some more info. Turned out it was a sensor in my gas cap, so I was good to go! I thanked him profusely and I was on my way again! Yay!

Y'know, the sign of good service is when somebody does what they can for you despite being super busy. He could have told me to come back the next day or any number of things, but he took the time to help me out which was very much appreciated by me and my wife. Thank you Bakersfield Jeep! :)

BCJ is an outstanding dealership because they offer excellent quality and not to mention the entire staff who are knowledgeable, caring, friendly, and they go the extra mile to help each customer's needs. I have nothing but praise for this dealership. Every time I've gone for service I have been treated with respect, and they always have done an amazing job. I had a PT Cruiser before and traded it in for a 200 earlier in April 2013, and the sales and finance people helped me beyond my needs. We recently purchased a 4 door Jeep wRangler...we are seriously in love with this car! It's perfect for us and we get stopped so many times by people that really love the car as well. I have to say that the quality of the customer service there at Jeep has raised the bar for me! I will never again settle for other dealerships that make you feel like you owe them something for coming into their auto mall. This facility really knows how to embrace customers and still knows how to value customers and not take their business for granted. OUr wonderful experience came mostly with dealing with DAVID the car salesman....he is the first genuine car salesman I have ever met. You instantly sense his sincerity and his knowledge in the cars was quite amazing! He knew the ins and outs of both cars we test drove. Our hearts immediatly melted for him. He became our friend by the end of the day. He is a wonderful man who deserves nothing but great things and we are praying that God would bless him beyond measure. We would highly recommend this dealership along with their staff (DAVID). They will treat you very well. I hope all the salesman there are as great as David...but one thing is for sure...you can't fake the gentle heart that he has. Seriously love that guy. But we still did not find the right Jeep that had everything we wanted at a decent price, until today. They spend your money like it is their money being spent: carefully and necessary. They do not group repairs just because they go together. If the rear breaks need repair, and the front breaks do not, the front breaks do not get repairs. Neither are you surprised when the time comes for the repair. My service advisor, Leticia Perez, told me early. She said the breaks are at 4 points and we like to change them once they get at 3, so I was ready and had made room in my budget to pay for them. They give you so much confidence and trust that you do not want anyone else to work on your car. I drive almost 2 hours one way from Fresno to Bakersfield to get to the people that I trust. I bought a Jeep Patriot 2 days ago. The service was excellent. My wife and I didn't feel like the salesman Jose Garcia was pushy in anyway. Very helpful. Helped us find what we were looking for in a car which was something economical not only for our budget, but on gas. They stayed late into the night to help us while we decided, and then helped us get all the extras we needed into our loan as well. I'd definitely go back for my next car purchase.

The best and friendliest salesman I have ever encountered in my 45 years of buying cars is Peter DeKeyes. His knowledge and love of automobiles translates into someone I just enjoy talking to, let alone buying a car from. I've sat on the fence for years waiting for just the right Wrangler but actually bought a 2012 Grand Cherokee, which is a fine vehicle. Peter is helpful and kind to me for all those sporadic visits and always makes me feel good.
